The Indian Institute of Planning
& Management was established in the year 1973 by Dr. Malay
Chaudhuri, former Professor at IIM-B and XLRI, Jamshedpur. Dr. Malay is
a known visionary leader who came up with the idea of IIPM during that
era so as to change the way education was looked at in India. Ever
since then; IIPM has been successfully imparting world class education
to students across the nation nearly for the last four decades. At
present, IIPM has expanded tremendously with eighteen campuses across
the nation.
IIPM is a revolution in the field of
management education initiated by Dr. Malay Chaudhuri and is being
carried forward by Prof. Arindam Chaudhuri, Honorary Dean (Centre for
Advanced Economics and Research Studies).
IIPM has been placed on top of the
list of B-Schools in India over that last few years by various Business
magazines ,Research agencies and News Channels of repute.
Ranked as the 4th Best B-School by Zee Business Best B-School Survey 2012 and 6th by DNA National B-School Survey 2012,
IIPM is India’s Global B-School and
nation’s most well networked global business institute. Indian
Institute of Planning & Management has carved a niche for itself as
not only India’s but also South East Asia’s most comprehensive source
of management education. A testimony to its immense success is the CMO Asia Best B-School Awards held at Singapore in which IIPM was awarded Asia’s Best B-School for 2011.
There is no doubt that IIPM has been
a top level B-School and is continuously ranked among the top
institutes of India.IIPM’s overall performance in terms of
placement,global exposure,faculty has been tremendous and unmatched.
The institute has been off late grabbing top positions specially when
it comes to Placement and Global Exposure.
IIPM was recently placed 1st by DNA National B-School Survey 2012 and ZEE Business Survey 2012 for Global Exposure.
